    Bits with Phillips® screws

Phillips® bits are a variant of the cross slot — unlike its counterpart, Pozidriv® with 4 additional flanks, the profile is a simple cross that centers the bit in the screw by itself. Practical, efficient at low torque and versatile, especially in everyday situations, Phillips bits (PH) established themselves a hundred years ago.

Advantages of an ASW cross-slotted bit (PH)

Phillips® bits are tried-and-tested tools for a reason, and you’ll find a few of them in most sets. We put all our know-how and decades of experience into making them quality tools:

      • Fast: You can effortlessly insert the cross-slotted bits (PH) into the screw.
      • Efficient: The profile allows a higher torque than, for example, slotted bits.
      • Due to our special hardening process and carefully developed coatings, the cam-out effect, of Phillips bits is often greatly reduced — and you won’t lose your grip by surprise.
